What Gonkbot is
Gonkbot is a service that stores golf round data you log through an AI assistant (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Poke) connected via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Information we collect
- Google account basics: when you sign in with Google we receive your Google account identifier, email address, and display name. We use these solely to create and identify your Gonkbot account. We do not receive or store your Google password, and we do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google data.
- Golf data you log: courses, tee sets, rounds, hole scores, statistics, shot notes, round recaps, and your player profile — only what you or your assistant send to Gonkbot.
How we use it
- To store and return your golf data when your assistant requests it.
- To compute statistics, trends, and unofficial handicap figures from your own rounds.
We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Your data is visible only to you, through assistants you have authorized.
Where it lives
Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (Workers, D1, and KV). OAuth tokens are stored hashed or encrypted; we never store plaintext credentials.
Third-party assistants
Your AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Poke, or others) is a separate service with its own privacy policy. Anything you tell your assistant is governed by that provider's terms; Gonkbot only receives the structured data the assistant sends to our API on your behalf.
Data deletion
You can revoke an assistant's access at any time from that assistant's settings. To delete your account and all stored data, email privacy@gonkbot.com from the Google email you signed in with, and we will remove it within 30 days.
Changes
We will update this page when the policy changes and adjust the date above.
